Elisa is a visual artist and contemporary art curator based in Lisbon. She lived in New York for 10 years — studying acting and modern dance and teaching theatre to children — and in Barcelona for 6 years, where she began her work in art curating and cultural management. A lifelong animal lover, she has volunteered at shelters in New York and Lisbon, fundraising, walking, sitting, and fostering dogs whose lives were at risk. Mother to a daughter and a sweet, energetic border collie, she believes love is never too much when helping others.

Carolina has always had a deep passion for both people and animals. She studied Clinical Psychology and is completing her thesis in Psycho-Oncology, with a focus on breast cancer. Having volunteered at animal shelters in Portugal and the United States, she has deepened her study of animal behaviour from a psycho-sociological perspective. She believes in empathy, meaningful connections, and the powerful role that human and animal relationships play in well-being and quality of life.
